Accused of multiple crimes at home including fraud and money laundering, the former chairman of Canada’s spy review committee is now languishing inside one of Central America’s biggest and most violent prisons, where he’s attracting notice from other inmates.
“The Wiseguy, what I will call our new fella,” an inmate tweeted

[WARNING: He has posted gruesome prison images] from Panama’s La Joya penitentiary on Friday, hours after Arthur Porter, 56, was transferred to the notorious facility. Dr. Porter spent most of the week in somewhat more refined custody with Panamanian police. He was apprehended in Panama Sunday on international arrest warrants with his 53-year-old wife Pamela, who was placed in a jail for women.

“Our pavilion has had all sorts; Crooked crooks, Traficantes, Mulas, Big Bosses, Kingpins, Dr. Death (harvested organs & sold on black market),” the inmate added, referring to his prison unit, reserved for foreigners. “They place Porter 1 degree of separation from a pair of notorious 1980s figures: the Lockerbie bomber & Ex Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega.”
Our pavilion has had all sorts; Crooked crooks, Traficantes, Mulas, Big Bosses, Kingpins, Dr. Death

He went on to describe Dr. Porter’s rudimentary new accommodations. “We’ve finally gotten him a bed. But he has to manage sleeping on the floor as the pavilion is overcrowded. Doubt if he can fit into hammocks.” The inmate was reached via email Friday night. He asked that his name not be published.

The Porters were stopped by police at Tocumen International Airport near Panama City, after travelling from Nassau, Bahamas, where they have maintained a residence for years, and where Dr. Porter exiled himself after his troubles emerged in Montreal.

“Arthur is here, spoken with him, apparently, seems his wife was arrested with him, if she was detained, she will be in the female prison,” the inmate told the National Post, a few hours after Dr. Porter arrived at La Joya. He was processed and put in the foreigners unit, which the inmate describes as filthy, over-crowded and dangerous. “But Arthur is here and we are looking out for a bedspace for him, as he seems to have health complications; uses breathing aid.”

The inmate indicates that he’s been inside La Joya prison for four years. He has access to the Internet and to wireless communications. He has blogged and tweeted about brutal conditions inside La Joya, describing incidents of violence and prisoner neglect.
“We have quite a handful of appliances here; corruptions!” he wrote in an email. He then resumed tweeting about his new “MVP” cellmate.

Dr. Porter was appointed chairman of the Security and Intelligence Review Committee by Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2010, but resigned a year later after a National Post investigation revealed several of his curious business affairs. A few weeks later he resigned as director general of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) one of Canada’s largest public health care providers.Ryan Remiorz / The Canadian PressPrime Minister Stephen Harper, right, chats with Dr. Arthur Porter, left, at the Montreal General hospital in Montreal in 2006.

He left Canada in early 2012 and was living in a seaside retreat with his family in Nassau, where he also operated a private cancer clinic. Dr. Porter is an oncologist by trade.
In February, Quebec police accused Dr. Porter of participating in an alleged $22.5-million kickback scheme relating to the construction of the MUHC’s new $1.3-billion hospital on Montreal’s west side. Police claim the alleged scheme also involved former executives from SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., the Montreal-based engineering giant that was part of a consortium awarded the hospital project three years ago. Dr. Porter chaired the committee that awarded the contract to the SNC-Lavalin group.

Mrs. Porter is accused of conspiracy and laundering the proceeds of crime. She and her husband are presumed innocent of all charges unless proven guilty.

The tweeting inmate made note of Dr. Porter’s unlikely predicament inside La Joya prison. “We’ve had notorious/violent Canadians, but this one seems to be on the other side of the fence; a white-collar crook! but innocent till…[proven guilty], he tweeted Friday evening.
He blogged that conditions are very difficult for newcomers, who must prove themselves. “Others; the nobodies, they gotta start from the scratch… Sleep on floor, share a toilet with about 50 or more inmates, fend for themselves.”

He seems to know well of what he tweets and blogs.

THE CANADIAN PRESS/HO-Panama PoliceArthur Porter is taken is into custody in a photo from the Panama Police twitter feed. Porter, the former head of Canada's spy-agency watchdog, who received prestigious appointments from different levels of government, has been arrested abroad on fraud charges.

In a recent posting on his prison blog, the La Joya inmate wrote that “the moment an inmate is hauled in through those iron gates, among the catcalls and chaotic noises one hears; will be words, expressions of threat and abuse, along with laughters as the rookie inmate is ridiculed and welcome to his new world. But in reality, he will live to face those words and his reactions will determined his survival; cowered or defiance!”

“Business and Deals are our life-saving means inside here,” he wrote in another blog post about life inside La Joya. “At the apex is corruption; if it wasn’t for it, nothing would have crossed through all the security points into our pavilion. But then, we have to live with the fact, that, as the good and needed things are brought it. Other undesirables are also smuggled in; knives, guns, grenades, poisons and whatever could be used to harm others or protect one’s life.”

There are approximately 4,000 inmates at La Joya, some of whom are violent criminals and drug traffickers. Conditions are “deplorable,” especially in the foreigners’ unit, he told the Post in another email. He mentions drug and alcohol use, sex and disease inside the prison. “Panama authorities barely take care of us,” he told the National Post, adding that countries such as the Netherlands have failed to honour prisoner repatriation agreements signed with Panama.

Allen Mcinnis/Postmedia News filesDr. Arthur Porter in 2008 when he was CEO of the McGill University Health Centre.

He also tweeted a concern that Dr. Porter appears to be unwell. “Seeing him with all his medical peripherals; seems this fella is pretty sick, and Panama don’t give a fcuk on prisoners well-being!”

Dr. Porter told reporters in January that he had developed lung cancer. After Quebec police laid charges against him a month later, he said the cancer had spread to his liver and had progressed to Stage Four, which is usually fatal.

He said he was too ill to travel to Canada and face his accusers.

It’s not clear why he and his wife flew from Nassau to Panama, arriving Sunday. According to local police, Dr. Porter claimed diplomatic immunity when apprehended. In 2011, he told the National Post he is an “ambassador plenipotentiary” for his native Sierra Leone, and a “special advisor” to that country’s president.

Dr. Porter has hired a local lawyer — who was once associated with Noriega, the former Panamanian president — to help him avoid extradition to Canada.

More religious accommodation

Hijab during physical education

April 30, 2014, the parent of a little girl attending a primary school in the school board wrote to management to ask her daughter to wear the hijab and long pants during physical education classes.

"Our daughter does not remove her hijab"

"Because she's really upset. Each week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, she can not go to school, and she cries. Plaite Please, help us! "
(...) I want my daughter to go to school with happy, with freedom, "wrote the parent of a letter sent to management.

As is the case every reasonable accommodation, the school board sent a letter to parents, asking him to explain his reasons in writing, however, the latter will never responded.

Was it because the end of classes approached? Will we receive another application next year? This is a must see, Catherine Houpert launches.

The hijab in physical education classes is at the discretion of each school.

Only problematic cases are sent to school board.

"I'm pretty sure other girls wearing the hijab for sports in other states Catherine Houpert schools.

As you can see even the director asks his parents to lodge complaints to the Commission scolaire des Patriotes. I believe that this guideline needs to "secular" support in Quebec and in the meantime she resigns to wear the veil in the face to hide like an ostrich. If all school boards manage these kinds of difficulties, the people of Quebec will cease to exist because of your bows and these religious fanatics will become your patrons, my dear. This is what you want? Get up everybody and Quebec require that these cowards sold and politicians take their responsibility as politicians in Iran.

You do not have your hijab, you're stoned. Here am stones themselves. We Petit Québec and Grandchildren Administrators cheese. When will the integration of immigrants to Canada and not when the integration of the occupants of the immégrants Canada. If they do not or can not understand that they themselves asked to come here, they only have to go better than the heavens Canada. If it was so good in their country, why come to us make us citizens of Canada unsustainable life. Their racism and racist does not equal against Canadians natives for over 400 years.

Des Patriotes School Board near Montreal Disturbing religious accommodations Born Again Christian, Are we so stupid in Quebec

Disturbing religious accommodations for all Quebec

Monsters that disturb and Born again Christians bother us
School board des Patriotes July 14, 2014 Montréal

Parents of describing himself as the sect "Born again Christian" is requested last October that their girls to leave the classroom when "religious or monstrous" topics.

"They told us that their religion does not tolerate other forms of deities God. So they do not want their child deals with subjects related to witches, fairies or elves "says Ms. Hébert.

"My child told me that she must make a text on an animal that scares; it means that a text on an animal enough!! "wrote parents in a letter to the school board.

Finally, a compromise was reached. The school board refused to let the child leave the classroom, but rather suggested that they work on another subject when the topics are not suitable for their religion.

I used to be Catholic as a child. I was baptized, I made my first communion, and my confirmation. I grudgingly went to church on Sunday mornings and always skipped out before or during communion. I didn't believe I deserved communion since I never wanted to be there. Once I made my confirmation, I refused to go back to my church. After about a year, I started attending a non-denominational Christian youth group. I then began attending Sunday morning services. I was soon baptized as a born-again Christian. In my opinion, both religions have the same goal, salvation, but the road to getting there is quite different for each. Both religions abide by the Ten Commandments, but, in my experience, they are interpreted slightly different. The Ten Commandments are the basic, broad rules that God demanded everyone live by. The rules were carved into two tablets of stone and given to a man named Moses. After being part of both religions, I noticed some major differences including the church leaders, the method in which one becomes saved, and who is worshipped.

In the Roman Catholic church mass is lead by a male priest who cannot marry. This priest also handles all communications between the people and God / Jesus. Even though, according to the bible, Jesus slashed the veil that separated the common church from the holy area, the priests still believe that the people can only be absolved by confessing to a preist. People confess their sins to the priest and the priest then communicates their confession to God; the priest is like a vessel. Priests also instruct people to pray certain prayers after confession.
The born-again Christian church is much different. Mass is lead by a pastor who can be either sex and who usually has a spouse and children. The pastor will sometimes put his or her hands on a person and pray for him or her, but he or she is not the vessel or 'midde-man' between a person and God. Also, confession is not lead by the pastor - confession is person and is solely between a person and God. A person looking for forgiveness must ask for it straight from God through prayer.

The Catholics believe the road to salvation lies in and among works. Works are basically following the Ten Commandments, like going to church every Sunday. Works also include completing applicable sacraments: baptism, first communion, confirmation, and reconciliation. These are all required works if one is to be saved. A relationship with Jesus is not entirely stressed.
Jesus said in the bible "... Deny me before man and I will deny you before you my father... ". This verse sums up the born-again Christian belief of how one is saved - a relationship with Christ. It doesn't matter how many good works one does in the name of God; without an acceptance of, and relationship with, Christ one is not saved. The born-again Christian belief is that salvation comes before baptism and that the work of being baptized does not make one saved.
Catholics pray to God, Jesus, Mary, and the saints. When praying the rosary, one prays the 'Hail Mary' many more times than one prays the 'Our Father'. Catholics also pray to saints. They put emphasis on celebrating the life of Mary and of the saints. Yet again, there are opposing views.
Born-again Christian pray to God and Jesus alone. The Ten Commandments state that one shall worship no other God . Born-again Christians strongly abide by this. To born-again Christians, Mary was simply a woman and the people that the Catholic church has deemed as saints are looked upon merely as people.

After having been a participant in both religions, many differences were noticed. The major differences I noticed were who was worshipped, the method in which one is saved, and who leads church services. In each of these categories I noticed other small differences like how priests differ from pastors. Catholic works differ from born-again Christian relationship with Jesus. I also noticed that some people, being holy and virtuous, were considered saints and were prayed to. Sure, these two religions have their differences, and yet somehow the goal of salvation us the same - Amen.

Are we so stupid in Québec? Yes my dear.

Omar Kadhr terrorist we do not want him in Quebec

OMAR KADHR

Why do we want that shit of Omar Kadhr in Quebec and his family

TORONTO - Canada’s problem child is coming home and there’s not much we can do about it.
All the Canadian terrorist are with Omar Khadr

The repatriation of Omar Khadr from his prison cell at notorious Guantanamo Bay is now just weeks away. All the foot dragging by the Harper government can’t delay the inevitable much longer.
The question is: Now what?
What will we do with our infamous child soldier? Set him free as his supporters will no doubt demand? Make him a media star who travels the highly-paid speech circuit decrying his inhumane treatment at the U.S. naval base with an autobiography and movie rights to follow?
Or will we treat him like the admitted killer that he is and make him serve out his sentence?
Now 25, the convicted war criminal was 15 when he hurled the hand grenade that killed U.S. Sgt. Chris Speer during a firefight in Afghanistan, near the Pakistani border in July 2002. In American custody ever since, a U.S. military commission jury wanted to give him 40 years behind bars.
Instead, an October 2010 plea bargain saw Khadr sentenced to eight more years in prison in return for his pleading guilty to five war crimes, including murder, spying and terrorism.

As part of the deal, Khadr would have to serve just one year more at the U.S. naval base before being transferred to Canada. By the letter of the agreement, he was eligible to be repatriated six months ago but his request is only just landing in Ottawa.
And now the sole Canadian citizen — and last Western detainee — left at Gitmo, Khadr will soon be jetting back to the country he barely knows.
The progeny of Canada’s first family of terrorism was born in Scarborough but was soon uprooted when his dad, al-Qaida bagman Ahmed Said Khadr, moved the clan to Afghanistan. While his former friends were going to Scouts, he was meeting Osama bin Laden and attending bomb-making training camp.
To his supporters — and there are many — he is an abused young man who had the misfortune of being born into the wrong family and should be released on parole as soon as soon as he steps foot on our soil.
If given credit for his pre-trial custody, Khadr could be heading to a halfway house near you. And from there, into the bosom of his frightening family.
The terrorist patriarch was killed by Pakistani forces in October 2003. Younger brother Karim, then 14, was paralyzed from the waist down in the same shootout. Older brother Abdullah Khadr is wanted in the U.S. for conspiracy to kill Americans outside the U.S., as well as purchasing arms for al-Qaida terrorists in eastern Afghanistan. Sister Zaynab is suspected of running an al-Qaida training camp in Afghanistan in the 1990s.

Mother Maha el-Samna has said she’d rather raise her children to fight than live in Canada where they could become homosexuals or addicted to drugs.
Khadr’s long-running case has been a touchy thorn in the side of the Americans and the Canadians from the start. Despite repeated calls from human rights groups and opposition MPS, the federal government wanted nothing to do with its young citizen. Meanwhile, the Obama administration has long wanted this headache gone.
And here he comes.
As part of his plea deal, Khadr agreed not to profit from any publication of his story or receive credit for time served. But knowing our lenient system, it’s easy to see those stipulations fly out the window. Under Canada’s International Transfer of Offenders Act, any time spent in custody between arrest and sentencing counts as time served, making him immediately eligible for parole.
If he was just a poor victimized child soldier who has now found his way, we have nothing to fear. But what if he’s not?
At least one American expert has sounded a chilling warning. After examining him over eight hours, the prosecution’s forensic psychiatrist told a military sentencing tribunal that Khadr shows no remorse and is likely to re-enter a life of terrorism.
“He’s highly dangerous,” Dr. Michael Welner told the hearing 18 months ago. “In my professional opinion, Omar Khadr is at a high risk of dangerousness as a radical jihadist.”
We want him and all his family to go back in their country.

These people are not CANADIAN they are TERRORIST and all the family should be deported.
